At our centre, ABA Therapy usually begins by identifying the unsafe behavior, learning about the trigger(s), and then teaching a safer alternative response. It involves a structured process of reinforcement to encourage desired behaviors and carefully applied consequences, such as with negative reinforcements , to discourage undesired behaviors. Our experienced team of therapists utilizes evidence-based techniques to promote positive behaviors and decrease behaviors that may hinder learning and social interaction, to be prepared for pre-school.
